I have compiled a list of questions that will help any bride or wedding couple ask the questions that will ensure they are getting the right services and the best professional wedding photographer they can afford. So, if you're getting married and are not sure what questions to ask, fret not, we've done the work for you...

- Do you specialize just in wedding photography?
- Do you have a website portfolio or samples I can view?
- Do you only do formal portraits or can you offer candids and artistic styles?
- Can you offer black & whites or other effects for our photos?
- Will you shoot our wedding by yourself or with a second shooter?
- Do you offer ready-made wedding photo packages?
- What other services do you offer?
- Can you provide photo album, and if so, what are the costs?
- Do you use professional manual SLR cameras or point and shoot cameras?
- How, many hours will you shoot at the wedding ceremony and reception?
- Do you charge a fee for travel, or for extra shoot locations?
- How many photos will you shoot?
- What sizes of prints do you offer? What’s the cost for each size?

Green Living...Earthship Style!

I had the wonderful opportunity to stay overnight in the Suffolk, VA Earthship with Melina Winterton, her husband Larry Peck, and their children. I wanted to document this 'green home' project with a photo expose' in hopes of spreading the word about viable eco-home options many believe to still be unobtainable. Below are links to their progress, giving a realistic overview of the project, and what it takes to 'do it yourself'.
